Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care and comprehensive clinical assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control policies and patient safety measures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues regarding treatment plans and updates.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
