Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
- Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and monitor patient vital signs
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Adhere to infection control standards and safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committee meetings
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience (preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
