Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailored care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies accurately.
- Monitor patient progress and promptly report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health maintenance and disease management.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure holistic patient care.
- Adhere to all hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
