Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient medical records, observations, and interventions in a timely and precise manner.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations with composure and clinical expertise.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as required.
