Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed providers.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care interventions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of Wisconsin.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving patients.
