Responsibilities
- Assess patient health and develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any critical changes immediately to the clinical team.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our state-of-the-art electronic health records (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to perform under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
