Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough health assessments and monitor patient vitals to ensure optimal recovery plans.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer prescribed medications and treatments while documenting all interventions.
- Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop holistic care plans.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and legally compliant patient medical records.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the facility.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication usage, and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of North Carolina.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care in high-pressure environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
