Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and treatment according to established nursing protocols and standards.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes or abnormalities to the healthcare team immediately.
- Document patient medical histories, assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control policies.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred (travel and experienced nurses welcome).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Computer proficiency with electronic health record systems.
- Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
