Responsibilities
- Assessing and evaluating patient health needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding immediately to changes in condition or emergencies.
- Documenting patient care, symptoms, progress, and recovery accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Providing patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (Travel/Agency experience preferred).
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
