Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems, needs, and treatment options.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and response to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately in the EMR.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as required.
- Commitment to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
