Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical progress, escalating concerns to physicians and charge nurses immediately.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, pharmacists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Washington State Department of Health.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
