Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient care across diverse clinical units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards
- Mentor new nurses and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license or compact state eligibility
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred for leadership roles)
- 2+ years acute care experience with specialty certifications preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in Epic EHR and clinical documentation systems
- Strong critical thinking and conflict resolution abilities
