Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in specialized units (ER, ICU, Med-Surg)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge plans
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active FL RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required or obtainable within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
