Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies.
- Educate patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to lift, move, and position patients as required for patient care.
- Commitment to infection control standards and HIPAA compliance.
