Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfer using proper techniques for client safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Administer medications and remind clients of their daily schedules.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the care manager immediately.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a plus but not always required.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and assist patients.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a patient, kind demeanor.
