Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and safety techniques.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Manage medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties related to client care.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Current CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Compassionate nature with a patient and respectful demeanor.
