Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during clinical procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Manage digital patient records and scheduling through our cloud-based systems
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain inventory remotely
- Conduct virtual patient follow-ups and post-operative care instructions
- Process insurance claims and billing documentation electronically
- Train on tele-dentistry protocols for remote consultations
- Maintain HIPAA compliance for all digital patient interactions
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar dental software
- Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual documentation
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental sterilization protocols
- Excellent written communication skills for remote patient interactions
- CPR/BLS certification and current immunization records
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
