Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontics
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Manage patient records and scheduling via our cloud-based system (remote option)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict OSHA compliance protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for efficient patient flow
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and oral hygiene best practices
- Process insurance claims digitally (remote component available)
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent NV licensure
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Experience with digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Strong organizational abilities for hybrid workflow management
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance in remote work environment
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
