Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures via remote monitoring and real-time support
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment following OSHA standards
- Manage digital patient records and documentation using practice management software
- Conduct virtual patient consultations and pre/post-op follow-ups
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and inventory management for dental supplies
- Implement infection control protocols across remote and clinical settings
- Train on advanced dental imaging systems for remote case analysis
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Strong telehealth communication skills and tech literacy
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance for remote data handling
- CPR certification and radiology certification
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred for Laredo community
