Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures, including instrument preparation and patient positioning
- Manage digital patient records and scheduling via our cloud-based system
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment following OSHA protocols
- Conduct patient education remotely via virtual consultations
- Process insurance claims and billing documentation electronically
- Order inventory and manage supply chain logistics
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all digital communications
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with practice management software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Strong telehealth communication skills
- Valid Florida Dental Radiology certification
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
- CPR/BLS certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
