Responsibilities
- Process and verify medication orders through our remote dispensing system with 99.9% accuracy
- Manage patient profiles and insurance verifications via secure digital platforms
- Collaborate with pharmacists to resolve prescription discrepancies and clinical inquiries
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all electronic communications and documentation
- Conduct remote inventory audits and coordinate with pharmacy techs for restocking
- Provide telepharmaceutical support to healthcare providers and patients
- Train on new pharmacy technologies and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- Active NYS Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 2 years retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Experience with telehealth platforms preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid NYS driver's license for occasional on-site visits
