Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws and specimen collection with precision and patient comfort
- Process and transport specimens while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Conduct patient intake and vital sign measurements
- Assist with inventory management of medical supplies
- Document patient information and test results in EMR systems
- Collaborate with lab teams for accurate specimen handling
- Participate in quality assurance and compliance audits
Qualifications
- Current California Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in phlebotomy
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EMR)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
