Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood draws across diverse patient populations
- Process and transport specimens following strict HIPAA compliance protocols
- Utilize telehealth platforms for remote patient consultations and pre-procedure assessments
- Maintain precise electronic health records using our integrated telemedicine system
- Collaborate with remote physicians to optimize patient care pathways
- Implement infection control standards in both clinical and home visit settings
- Train patients on at-home collection techniques for remote monitoring programs
Qualifications
- Current Alaska Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP or AMT preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic medical records
- Valid Alaska driver's license with reliable transportation for home visits
- BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Ability to work independently while maintaining HIPAA compliance standards
- Experience with pediatric and geriatric blood collection protocols
