Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and specimen collection with precision and patient comfort
- Process and transport specimens while maintaining strict chain-of-custody protocols
- Utilize our secure telehealth platform for patient scheduling and preliminary result reviews
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards for all digital and physical records
- Collaborate with remote medical teams to optimize patient care workflows
- Maintain inventory of phlebotomy supplies through our integrated inventory management system
Qualifications
- Active California Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in phlebotomy
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Ability to work independently while maintaining HIPAA compliance
