Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, escalating concerns to the Charge Nurse or provider immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and care options.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (Med-Surg or Emergency preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver high-quality patient care in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
