Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures with precision and patient comfort
- Process and transport specimens while maintaining strict chain-of-custody protocols
- Utilize our proprietary telehealth platform for remote patient consultations and pre-procedure guidance
- Document all procedures in our HIPAA-compliant electronic health records system
- Collaborate with laboratory staff via virtual meetings to ensure specimen integrity
- Maintain infection control standards at collection sites and mobile units
- Participate in quarterly remote training on new technologies and techniques
Qualifications
- Current California Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and mobile specimen collection apps
- Strong communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Valid CPR certification and reliable transportation for site visits
- Experience with LIS/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
