Responsibilities
- Perform accurate blood draws and specimen collection at patient homes and medical facilities
- Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and transport according to HIPAA protocols
- Conduct patient screening and vital measurements remotely via telehealth platforms
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) through our remote documentation portal
- Collaborate with lab teams to resolve specimen discrepancies and quality issues
- Train patients on at-home collection procedures via virtual sessions
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current California Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical phlebotomy experience
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and EHR systems
- Exceptional patient communication and bedside manner skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
- Reliable transportation for home visits within Santa Ana area
- Clear background check and drug screening required
