Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient assessments via phone/video to determine medical urgency
- Utilize triage protocols to prioritize patient cases appropriately
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate patient care pathways
- Document clinical encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up procedures
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Basic computer proficiency with electronic health systems
- Willingness to complete specialized triage training program
