Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collection in diverse settings (homes, clinics, mobile units)
- Process specimens with precision using remote monitoring protocols and digital documentation systems
- Provide exceptional patient education and comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with lab teams via telehealth platforms for result verification
- Maintain sterile techniques and regulatory compliance across all interactions
- Utilize mobile phlebotomy technology for real-time data transmission

Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NCCT, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical phlebotomy experience
- Valid North Carolina phlebotomy license
- Proficiency with electronic health records and telehealth platforms
- Exceptional communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Ability to work independently while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- CPR certification and reliable transportation for home visits
- Experience with pediatric and geriatric blood collection preferred
