Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and specimen collection with precision and patient comfort
- Utilize telehealth platforms for virtual patient consultations and pre-procedure assessments
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) via our HIPAA-compliant mobile portal
- Coordinate with central lab facilities for timely specimen processing and results delivery
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols while operating in diverse patient environments
- Train on mobile phlebotomy technologies and remote monitoring systems
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience with venipuncture proficiency
- Valid North Carolina state phlebotomy license
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Reliable transportation for community-based specimen collection
- BLS/CPR certification and negative TB screen within 6 months
