Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture, capillary draws, and specimen collection in clinical settings
- Utilize telehealth platforms for patient consultations, appointment scheduling, and result communication
- Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) and documentation remotely
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA regulations for all procedures
- Collaborate with laboratory teams and providers via virtual case reviews
- Train patients on at-home collection procedures when applicable
- Manage inventory and supply ordering through digital systems
Qualifications
- Active Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NCCT, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong written communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Valid Ohio phlebotomy license
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to travel to Cincinnati facilities 2-3 days weekly
- High-speed internet access for remote work
