Responsibilities
- Assist in sterile processing and preparation of surgical instruments/equipment
- Collaborate with surgical teams via remote monitoring systems during procedures
- Maintain sterile fields and ensure compliance with OSHA/JCAHO standards
- Document surgical procedures accurately in our digital health records system
- Participate in hybrid OR coordination via telehealth platforms
- Conduct equipment maintenance quality checks remotely
- Train on new surgical technologies and telehealth protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification
- 2+ years of operating room experience
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and digital health records
- Strong understanding of sterile processing procedures
- Ability to work independently while collaborating remotely
- Valid Virginia surgical tech license
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
