Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse healthcare settings including telehealth and acute care facilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems for accurate documentation
- Provide specialized care in areas such as ICU, ER, or Med-Surg based on assignment
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and California nursing regulations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Provide mentorship to local staff during travel assignments
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (or compact license with CA endorsement)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS, ACLS, and any specialty-specific certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner preferred)
- Telehealth certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
