Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telehealth assessments to determine patient acuity and prioritize care needs
- Provide expert medical advice and guidance via phone, video, and secure messaging platforms
- Collaborate with clinical teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up protocols
- Monitor and respond to after-hours urgent calls with clinical judgment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of ER, urgent care, or telehealth experience
- BLS/BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and EHR systems
- Strong communication skills with ability to de-escalate situations
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
