Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone and telehealth patient assessments to determine urgency and appropriate care pathways
- Accurately document patient encounters in our EHR system while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care and resolve clinical queries
- Provide compassionate patient education on symptoms, treatment options, and care instructions
- Triage emergent cases according to established protocols and escalate critical situations
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation and follow up on patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana with minimum 3 years clinical experience
- BLS certification and ACLS preferred
- Proven expertise in emergency department or urgent care triage
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and EHR systems
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
