Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth platforms and determine appropriate care urgency
- Provide evidence-based clinical guidance to patients across diverse demographics
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Manage patient follow-ups and care transitions efficiently
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and telehealth protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (compact license preferred)
- 3+ years clinical nursing experience (ER/telehealth background ideal)
- BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong written communication abilities for telehealth documentation
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience with triage protocols and clinical guidelines
