Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intakes, measure vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist providers during procedures, including phlebotomy and minor surgeries.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with high accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education regarding treatment plans.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and clinical protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred, but new grads are welcome.
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, AthenaHealth) is highly desired.
- Strong computer literacy and remote communication skills.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
