- Submit and track insurance claims for accurate reimbursement
- Analyze EOBs to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues
- Verify patient eligibility and insurance coverage
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Generate reports for revenue cycle management
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for documentation
- Update patient records with billing information
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) or CPC preferred
- Proficiency in Epic, Medisoft, or similar billing software
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
