Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling via our EHR system (Epic experience preferred)
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Provide telehealth support for virtual patient consultations
- Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate with clinical teams for seamless patient care
- Resolve patient concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Process registration and check-in procedures remotely
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years medical reception experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Athenahealth, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Remote work experience required
- High-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- CPR certification preferred
