Responsibilities
- Accurately process and verify prescription orders via telepharmacy platform
- Coordinate with pharmacists for medication dispensing approvals
- Manage inventory systems and medication ordering protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, TSBP, and federal regulations
- Document patient interactions and prescription data in EMR systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues during virtual consultations
Qualifications
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
