Responsibilities
- Accurately verify and process prescriptions through our digital pharmacy platform while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with pharmacists to resolve medication discrepancies and ensure patient safety
- Manage remote inventory systems and coordinate medication shipments to Glendale-area facilities
- Provide exceptional telehealth support to patients regarding medication inquiries and insurance coverage
- Maintain precise electronic health records and documentation according to regulatory standards
- Support in-person pharmacy operations during quarterly inventory audits at our Glendale location
- Train on new pharmacy technologies and digital health tools to enhance service efficiency
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience with remote/hybrid work exposure
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1) and telehealth platforms
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in medication verification processes
- Strong written communication skills for patient interactions via digital channels
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative team dynamics
- Experience with inventory management systems and medication compounding procedures
- Basic knowledge of insurance billing and prior authorization processes
