Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and manage patient billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and inventory systems
- Provide telepharmacy consultation to patients and healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare team on medication therapy management
- Train on proprietary pharmacy software and digital tools
Qualifications
- Current Hawaii Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 1+ years of pharmacy experience in retail or hospital setting
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication skills for telepharmacy interactions
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High-speed internet connection and dedicated home workspace
