Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth platforms to determine appropriate care urgency
- Provide accurate medical advice and triage recommendations per clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care plans
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) with precision and timeliness
- Handle sensitive patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism
- Monitor and track patient outcomes for continuous quality improvement
- Participate in regular training to stay updated on triage best practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Louisiana
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience with triage focus
- Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently
- Experience with telehealth platforms and EHR systems
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a remote setting
