Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments via phone/video consultations
- Accurately prioritize patient cases using clinical judgment protocols
- Provide evidence-based medical advice and triage recommendations
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists for complex cases
- Maintain detailed electronic health records with precision
- Implement crisis intervention protocols for emergency situations
- Delicate patient education on home care and preventive measures
Qualifications
- Active NY RN license with minimum 3 years clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Triage or emergency department background preferred
- Exceptional communication and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong computer literacy and typing proficiency
- Experience with Epic EMR systems a plus
