Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough telephone and video patient assessments using evidence-based triage protocols
- Provide accurate clinical guidance and prioritize care based on acuity levels
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and transitions
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) with precise documentation
- Educate patients on symptoms, treatment options, and preventive care
- Handle high-volume calls during peak hours while maintaining quality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX) with current BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in emergency, urgent care, or telehealth
- Proficient in telephone triage protocols (e.g., ESI, Manchester)
- Exceptional assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Strong communication skills with cultural competence
- Experience with EHR systems and telehealth platforms
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
