Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough telephone triage assessments for patients across age groups
- Utilize clinical judgment to prioritize urgent cases and activate emergency protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately in our HIPAA-compliant EHR system
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients on home care management and preventive services
- Maintain strict compliance with state nursing regulations and telehealth guidelines
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in emergency/urgent care setting
- BLS certification with current ACLS preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and EHR systems
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated empathy
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience with pediatric and geriatric populations preferred
