Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize advanced surgical equipment including robotic systems and endoscopic devices
- Assist surgeons during procedures with specialized instrumentation and equipment management
- Maintain sterile fields and adhere to strict infection control protocols for all equipment
- Operate and troubleshoot complex surgical technology including energy-based devices
- Inventory and manage advanced surgical implants and disposable equipment
- Coordinate with biomedical engineering for equipment maintenance and calibration
- Document equipment usage and sterilization processes per regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical technology with advanced equipment
