Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough telephone/telehealth patient assessments and determine urgency of care needs
- Provide accurate clinical advice per established protocols and physician guidelines
- Document patient interactions in EMR systems with precision and timeliness
- Collaborate with providers and care teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients on symptoms, home care, and appropriate next steps
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and data security standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Triage or emergency department background strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems and telehealth technology
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong assessment skills for diverse patient populations
- ACLS/BLS certification required
- Experience with Epic or similar EMR systems a plus
