Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telehealth assessments for patients across the Houston metropolitan area
- Provide evidence-based triage recommendations and care instructions
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with providers and care coordinators for complex cases
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Handle urgent/emergency situations per established protocols
- Maintain infection control standards in remote work environment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX) with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in ER, urgent care, or telehealth
- BLS certification and ACLS preferred
- Proven ability to perform accurate telephone triage assessments
- Strong documentation skills with EHR proficiency
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Self-disciplined with reliable home office setup (high-speed internet, quiet space)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in virtual teams
