Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough telephone/telehealth assessments to determine patient acuity and prioritize care needs
- Provide accurate clinical guidance to patients experiencing acute and chronic health conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and referrals
- Document patient encounters meticulously in our HIPAA-compliant EHR system
- Manage high call volumes efficiently while maintaining exceptional patient satisfaction
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana (or compact license)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in emergency or urgent care setting
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with relevant experience considered)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and EHR systems
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Certification in Triage (e.g., ENPC, TNCC) preferred
